SNI Financial is partnered with a multibillion-dollar company in downtown Chicago that is hiring a Tax Manager. The company has experienced impressive growth and stability. In this role you will be responsible for overseeing international tax compliance, income tax, and manage a team of two. The company has plenty of room for professional advancement, a beautiful office in the Loop, generous benefits, and competitive bonus structure.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the international income tax compliance by reviewing income tax returns prepared by the public accounting firm
• Prepared income tax provision and follow ASC 740 guidelines
• Oversee foreign tax compliance including the preparation of tax returns, monthly accruals, and managing audits
• Review foreign entities’ U.S. tax returns prepared by third party firm
• Oversee the 1042 reporting process
• Review of foreign tax credit calculations
• Participate in transfer pricing analysis
• Review schedules K-2 and K-3 for complex partnership tax returns
• Review foreign tax provision calculations and ensure accuracy of tax entries under GAAP
• Manage special projects and communicate with third party accounting firms
• Enhance processes and assist with technology improvements
• Manage a team of two

Qualifications:

• CPA or master’s degree in accounting or taxation
• 5+ years of experience working for a global company
• Previous experience in public accounting preferred
• Experience with international tax compliance
