Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Tax Manager to lead tax engagements for individuals, fiduciaries, and businesses. The role requires an active CPA and extensive public accounting experience. You will review complex returns and develop proactive tax strategies, while serving as the primary client contact and mentoring staff.

Qualifications

Salary: $120,000 - $160,000 per year

Job Details

What You’ll Do:

• Lead tax engagements for individuals, fiduciaries, and businesses
• Review complex tax returns and develop proactive tax strategies
• Serve as primary point of contact for new and existing clients
• Mentor and guide staff and senior accountants
• Participate in business development, community presence, and firm leadership

What We’re Looking For:

• Active CPA license
• Strong experience in public accounting and tax experience (Senior Manager or Partner-level)
• Strong experience reviewing returns and delivering tax strategy
• Proven ability to lead engagements and develop client relationships
• Desire to contribute to firm leadership and possibly pursue partnership
• Big 4 or regional firm experience a plus
• Experience with CCH Axcess and project-based ERP billing preferred
