EisnerAmper is recruiting a senior Partner to lead our National Tax Office M&A and tax transaction team. The role requires guiding tax strategies, overseeing structuring for complex deals, and delivering strategic tax planning for clients.

You will mentor a growing team, collaborate with cross-functional groups, and stay ahead of evolving tax laws to optimize outcomes for clients and the firm.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree is required.
• 12+ years of tax experience with a focus on M&A transactions.
• In-depth knowledge of U.S. federal tax.
• Proven track record of leading tax structuring for complex transactions.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for presenting complex tax concepts.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement tax strategies aligned with business objectives to optimize tax efficiency.
• Provide expert advice on federal income tax issues, including structuring, planning, and risk management.
• Stay abreast of changes in tax laws and regulations and assess their impact on the organization and its clients.
• Collaborate with legal, financial, and operational teams to structure deals and transactions tax-efficiently.
• Provide strategic guidance on post-merger integration and restructuring to maximize tax benefits.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, providing strategic tax planning and M&A advice.
• Conduct client meetings and presentations to articulate complex tax concepts clearly and understandably.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring client satisfaction and identifying opportunities for additional services.
• Lead and mentor a team of tax professionals, guiding them on technical matters and professional development.
• Foster a collaborative and innovative team culture, encouraging knowledge sharing and continuous learning.
• Identify and assess tax risks associated with business activities and transactions.
