Frost Law in Annapolis, Maryland seeks a Litigation Associate with 2–8 years of experience to join our tax controversy and broader litigation team. The ideal candidate will manage cases from intake through resolution, including tax disputes, ERC matters, and PEO issues, with strong advocacy skills.

Qualifications

• JD from an accredited law school.
• 2–8 years of litigation experience, tax controversy a plus.
• US Tax Court admission is preferred or a willingness to be admitted.
• LL.M. in Taxation is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of tax controversy and litigation matters including ERC disputes, PEO and employment tax issues.
• Represent clients in IRS/state audits, appeals, and refund claims.
• Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, motions, and briefs; take depositsions.
• Handle proceedings before tax courts and state/federal tribunals; negotiate resolutions.
