Qualifications

• Knowledge of relevant Hawaii tax laws, rules, procedures, tax rates, exemptions, deductions, extensions, credits, assessments, delinquent taxes, business licensing, and tax office operations.

Responsibilities

• Assist with investigative activities to detect violations of Hawaii tax laws and regulations.
• Support investigators by gathering and organizing information and preparing written reports or spreadsheets.
• Assist in conducting office examinations of tax returns to verify accuracy and completeness.
