Job summary

State of Hawai'i is seeking qualified auditors to join the Department of Taxation in Downtown. The role includes performing professional auditing work at multiple levels and supporting the department's financial examinations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited four year college or university with at least twelve (12) semester credit hours in accounting and/or auditing subjects.

Responsibilities

• Auditor level III: conducts examinations of smaller agencies or business entities; assists higher-level auditors on complex assignments.
• Auditor level IV: conducts field audits of governmental books/records or those of entities; may supervise a small group of auditors.
