Job summary

H&R Block, Inc. is seeking a team member to support the tax interview process, entering client and W-2 information into the tax program and assisting with closing the interview. You will review the completed return with clients to ensure accuracy and provide superior service.

The role emphasizes clear communication, both in person and on the phone, and uses Windows-based programs to manage tax data. Additional state/local requirements may apply.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Reading and math skills required to begin and finish the tax return interview.
• Ability to communicate effectively in person and on the phone.
• Previous experience with Windows-based computer programs.
• Additional state and local requirements may apply.

Responsibilities

• Enter client and W-2 information into the tax program at the start of the interview.
• Assemble the tax return at interview closing, obtain signatures, review the finished product with the client, and complete bookkeeping procedures.
• Ensure all H&R Block clients are receiving superior service.
• All other duties as assigned.
