Job summary

Baker Tilly is seeking a Winter 2027 Tax Internship in New England, based in Tewksbury, MA. You'll gain hands-on experience supporting tax engagements, preparing returns, and performing research alongside seasoned professionals within a national advisory firm.

Currently enrolled in an Accounting major, you will develop technical accounting knowledge, utilize Excel, and participate in training and team projects in a hybrid work setting.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in or pursuing a bachelor's degree in Accounting or related business discipline.
• Must have at least one academic term remaining following completion of the internship.
• On track to meet the educational requirements for CPA exam eligibility prior to the start of a full-time Associate position.

Responsibilities

• Assist with preparing federal, state, and local tax returns, workpapers, calculations, supporting schedules, and related deliverables.
• Conduct tax research and document findings to support engagement team questions and client needs.
• Collaborate with engagement teams and clients to obtain information and maintain well-supported documentation.
• Complete assigned work accurately and on time, communicating progress, questions, and potential issues promptly.
