Qualifications

Pursuing an accounting degree with strong math and analytical abilities.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other relevant software is required or highly preferred.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities is required.
Ability to work independently and in a team environment is expected.
Familiarity with tax laws and regulations is a plus.

Responsibilities

Tax Preparation: Assist in preparing various types of tax returns (individual, corporate, partnership, trust).
Tax Research: Conduct research on tax laws, regulations, and rulings for planning and compliance.
Client Assistance: Respond to client inquiries and assist with tax-related questions.
Documentation and Record Keeping: Maintain organized tax files and documentation.
Assist with Audits and Reviews: Support the tax team during audits by organizing documents.
Stay Updated on Tax Regulations: Monitor changes to ensure compliance and informed planning.
Collaboration: Work closely with team members to complete tasks efficiently.
