Depending on local office needs, internships may be in assurance, tax, or a combination, and can be part-time or full-time. Winter internships typically run January through April 15, and summer internships generally run June through mid-August.

Qualifications

• Interns gain exposure to audit, tax, and client engagements.

• Intern candidates must be working toward CPA Exam eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Work with client personnel to reconcile account differences and analyze financial data.
• Prepare individual, corporate, partnership, or other tax returns.
• Calculate tax extension or estimate payments.
• Participate in client meetings alongside partners and managers.
