Job summary

Forvis Mazars, LLP is offering an internship opportunity in audit and/or tax in the United States, with options for winter or summer programs. Interns will work on client engagements, learn from senior staff, and gain exposure to multiple industries, testing their technical know-how.

Interns will reconcile financial data, prepare various tax returns, estimate payments, and participate in client meetings with partners and managers.

Qualifications

• Intern candidates must be working toward CPA Exam eligibility
• Minimum cumulative overall GPA of 3.0
• Must have reliable transportation to and from your assigned office and able to attend off-site meetings and events in person
• Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States; visa sponsorship not available

Responsibilities

• Work with client personnel to reconcile account differences and analyze financial data
• Prepare individual, corporate, partnership, or other tax returns
• Calculate tax extensions or estimated payments
• Participate in client meetings alongside Forvis Mazars partners and managers
