Job summary

Elevance Health is seeking a Tax Intern for Summer 2027 in Indianapolis, IN. The role supports the Tax department with federal/state income tax compliance, tax accounting, audits, and special projects during a 12-week, full-time program from May 17, 2027 to August 6, 2027.

Tax Intern – Summer 2027

Location: Indianapolis, IN
This role requires associates to be in-office 1 - 2 days per week, fostering collaboration and connectivity, while providing flexibility to support productivity and work-life balance. This approach combines structured office engagement with the autonomy of virtual work, promoting a dynamic and adaptable workplace.

The Tax Intern is responsible for supporting our Tax department by assisting with federal and state income tax compliance, tax accounting, examination/audit defense, and special projects. During this summer internship, the intern will be exposed to and gain experience with federal and state income tax, sales/use tax, property tax, and state premium (insurance) tax.

This internship program is a 12-week, full-time program running from May 17th, 2027 – August 6th, 2027.
