Carr, Riggs & Ingram (CRI) invites you to join our Tax Internship for Spring 2027. This program blends academic study with hands-on work in tax preparation, data gathering, and engagement correspondence.

You must be enrolled in an accredited college or university with a major in accounting, demonstrate strong written and oral communication, and work well both independently and in a team. Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access) is expected.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an accredited college or university with a major in accounting.
• Demonstrated written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access).
• Discretion handling confidential information.

Responsibilities

• Provide assistance in preparing work papers, trial balances, and depreciation schedules.
• Enter data for computer applications and prepare engagement correspondence.
• Assist staff in gathering data for tax return preparation and maintaining client files.
