Whitinger & Company invites students to join its Spring Full-Time Tax Internship, an in-office 12-week program running Jan 25 – Apr 15, 2026. Expect hands-on experience, real client engagements, and mentorship from Partners and senior staff while you learn essential tax and accounting tasks.
Interns will work on tax returns for individuals and businesses, participate in financial statement work, and earn college credit with compensation exceeding $10,000.

Internships are ideal for college juniors and seniors majoring in accounting with a minimum GPA of 2.8. All candidates should have completed at least one 300-level accounting course.
Before the beginning of an internship with Whitinger & Company, you will be assigned a mentor. This staff member will serve as a one-on-one resource to answer any questions and provide orientation to the company and industry, enabling you to perform confidently. In many cases, our mentors also help interns transition effectively into full-time employment.
An internship with Whitinger & Company offers an opportunity to gain a deeper understanding of public accounting and become more familiar with our firm. It also provides you with an excellent opportunity to make a positive impression and give us a better understanding of your career aspirations. In many cases, a successful internship is followed by a job offer as a full-time staff accountant upon graduation.
