Job summary

Cherry Bekaert is seeking a Tax Intern to gain hands-on experience across client engagements and tax projects. You will work with multiple supervisors, apply accounting concepts using firm technology, and participate in training initiatives.

Ideal candidates are juniors or seniors in an accredited accounting program, within two years of graduation, with a GPA around 3.0. Travel to client sites is expected, including frequent same-day assignments.

Qualifications

• Junior or senior enrolled in an accredited accounting or related program, two years from graduation.
• Cumulative GPA of 3.0/4.0 or above preferred, but not required.
• Proficiency with computers and spreadsheet software programs.

Responsibilities

• Work for multiple supervisors on a variety of client engagements.
• Apply accounting knowledge while performing client work using Firm technology.
• Shadow Tax professionals of all levels.
• Participate in team building and training initiatives.
• Attend social functions and participate in marketing or research projects.
