Cherry Bekaert LLP in the United States is seeking a Tax Intern to gain hands-on exposure to public accounting and build a solid foundation for your career. You will work with multiple supervisors on client engagements and shadow tax professionals across levels.

You'll apply accounting knowledge using firm technology, participate in team training, and contribute to research or marketing projects. Travel to client sites may be required, including frequent same-day travel.

Qualifications

• Pursuing accounting or related degree, nearing graduation (2 years from graduation)
• Proficiency with spreadsheets and basic software tools
• Willingness to travel to client sites as needed

Responsabilités

• Work for multiple supervisors on a variety of client engagements
• Apply accounting knowledge while performing client work using Firm technology
• Shadow Tax professionals of all levels
• Participate in team building and training initiatives
• Participate in and present on a marketing or research project
• Attend social functions: happy hours, lunches, community service projects and other outings
