BDO USA, LLP is seeking a Tax Intern for Core Tax Services in Milwaukee. You will assist in preparing returns, extensions, and supporting tax projects under supervision, gaining hands-on exposure to client work and firm processes.

The internship emphasizes learning tax compliance, ASC 740 handling, and assisting with notices while developing professional relationships within a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program in Accounting or other relevant field required.
• Pursuing a master’s degree in Accounting or other relevant field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare simple tax returns and supports with client filings.
• Assist with quarterly estimates and extensions.
• Assist with responses to IRS notices and year-end projections.
• Work with tax software to complete returns under supervision.
• Support ASC 740 tax accruals and apply firm policies.
