BDO USA, PC seeks a Tax Intern in Core Tax Services to assist with the preparation of returns and extensions, under supervision. The role offers hands-on exposure to client work and internal tax processes in a dynamic firm environment.

Active enrollment in an accounting degree (Bachelor’s or Master’s) is required, with a preference for those pursuing a Masters and CPA credentials. Prior leadership and communication skills are valued, along with proficiency in MS Office.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program in Accounting or related field.
• Pursuing a Master’s degree in Accounting or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Tax Compliance: prepare simple returns and extensions.
• ASC 740/FIN 48 tax accruals and related filings support.
• Tax Consulting: assist with efficient tax strategies for clients.
