Job summary

PwC in Detroit is seeking a Tax Japanese Business Network Intern to support our tax practice, learn tax strategies, and contribute to client outcomes. You will work with tax professionals on basic tasks, participate in projects, and develop your personal brand while learning how the business operates.

You will assist in delivering tailored tax services to entrepreneurial and private businesses and gain exposure to corporate and international tax planning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or equivalent.
• GPA of 3.0 or higher.
• Business fluency in Japanese and English (read, write, speak).
• Before starting full-time at PwC, eligible to sit for the CPA exam in your state of employment.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing and reviewing corporate tax returns and compliance documents.
• Analyze tax data to identify potential savings and compliance opportunities.
• Participate in international and multistate tax planning projects.
• Conduct tax research on laws and regulations to provide accurate information.
• Draft and prepare tax documents for clients with the team.
