Qualifications

• Must be pursuing or have completed a bachelor’s degree in Accounting
• GPA of at least 3.0
• Business-level fluency in Japanese and English
• Eligible to sit for the CPA exam in the intended state of employment
• Intern roles are entry-level and typically for students in their third/fourth year

Responsibilities

• Support tax teams in preparing and reviewing corporate tax returns and compliance documents
• Assist in analyzing tax data to identify potential savings and compliance opportunities
• Participate in international tax planning and multistate tax compliance projects
• Engage in tax research to provide accurate information on tax laws and regulations
• Collaborate to draft and prepare tax documents for clients
• Contribute to development of tax strategies aligned with client goals and regulations
• Observe and learn from experienced tax professionals
• Apply data analytics to improve accuracy and efficiency of tax reporting
• Support the Japanese Business Network in delivering tailored tax services
