Qualifications

• Enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's program in Accounting or related field required.
• Pursuing a master's degree in Accounting or related field preferred.
• Leadership experience preferred.
• Actively pursuing CPA credits (license/certifications).
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to follow instructions and work in a team.
• Ability to prepare simple tax returns.

Responsibilities

• Prepare simple tax returns under supervision.
• Assist with tax compliance, extensions, and notices from IRS.
• Support with ASC 740/FAS 109 FIN 48 tax provisions components.
• Use online research tools to gather pertinent tax information.
• Monitor tax law developments and communicate impacts to team.
