Qualifications

• Enrolled in a Bachelor's or Masters program in Accounting or other relevant field required
• Pursuing a masters degree in Accounting or other relevant field preferred
• Actively pursuing school credits to become a CPA
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• Strong written and verbal communication skills

Responsibilities

• Prepare tax returns and extensions under supervision
• Assist with ASC 740 (FAS 109 and FIN 48) tax accruals
• Assist with tax consulting to maximize client benefits
• Perform usual duties as required by Core Tax Services team
