Job summary

PwC is seeking a Tax Intern to immerse in our dynamic tax consulting practice. You will support teams delivering tailored tax services, learn PwC methodologies, and participate in projects that develop your technical and professional skills.

You will assist with corporate tax return preparation, tax research, and international/multistate planning, using data analytics to identify opportunities and help drive compliant tax positions under supervision.

Qualifications

• Pursuing/completed Bachelor's in Accounting with CPA eligibility in state of employment
• Minimum 3.0 GPA
• Eligible to sit for CPA exam before starting full-time
• Entry-level client service internship experience is acceptable
• Preference for GPA 3.5

Responsibilities

• Supporting tax teams in delivering comprehensive tax advice and planning strategies
• Preparing and reviewing corporate tax returns and compliance documents
• Assisting in the analysis of complex tax regulations to optimize tax positions and minimize risks
• Engaging in international tax planning and multistate tax compliance activities
• Conducting tax research to support consulting projects and provide innovative solutions
• Collaborating with team members to develop tax models and structures for clients
• Contributing to the preparation of tax provisions and audits to validate compliance
• Observing and learning from experienced tax professionals to enhance personal development
• Applying data analytics to identify opportunities for tax optimization and efficiency
• Supporting the development of regulatory compliance consulting strategies for diverse industries
