Job summary

SSC CPAs + Advisors is hiring paid Experienced Interns for Spring 2026 in our Salina, KS offices. This hands-on opportunity lets you build on prior internship and accounting-related experience with added responsibility.

You’ll prepare tax work papers, assist in preparing business and individual returns, perform extension calculations, review client documents, participate in meetings, and support digital workflow through organizing and scanning.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field.
• Proficiency in Excel and Word.
• Strong communication and discretion.
• Detail-oriented with problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Preparing tax return work papers and assisting in the preparation of business and individual tax returns.
• Performing tax extension calculations and contributing to tax planning or audit-related tasks.
• Reviewing client documents for accuracy and providing research support to project teams.
• Participating in internal and client meetings, gaining exposure to the client service process.
• Supporting digital workflow by organizing, scanning, and managing documents.
