Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
• Completed a corporate or individual taxation class.
• Actively achieving credits to sit for the Certified Public Accountant exam.
• Excellent communication, organization, and attention to detail.
• Strong computer skills, especially Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Gain hands-on tax-related experience.
• Participate in the January Intern Training event to build technical skills.
• Receive on-the-job training and work with clients under supervision.
• Work directly with staff—from Associates to Partners—to learn from them.
• Prepare individual and business income tax returns.
• Conduct tax research and convey information to your supervisor.
• Assist in preparing timely and accurate financial statements for decision-making.
• Demonstrate work ethic and interest in joining Hawkins Ash CPAs full-time.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

What you'll do:

• Gain hands-on tax-related experience
