Metropolis is seeking a highly motivated, detail-oriented, and analytical Tax Intern to join our fast-paced and highly visible Tax Department. In this year-long internship, you will get hands‑on experience in a high-volume corporate environment that processes over $22MM a month in Sales, Use, and Parking taxes, alongside complex Partnership and Corporate Federal and State Tax Returns. The ideal candidate is an aspiring accounting professional who is eager to learn, possesses strong foundational tech skills, and thrives in a dynamic team setting.

The anticipated base pay for this position is $18.00 USD to $23.00 USD hourly. The actual base pay offered is determined by a number of variables, including, as appropriate, the applicant's qualifications for the position, years of relevant experience, distinctive skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location of residence and/or place of employment. Base pay is one component of Metropolis' total compensation package, which may also include access to or eligibility for healthcare benefits, a 401(k) plan, short-term and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance, a lucrative stock option plan, bonus plans, and more.
