We want someone who is eager to leave their mark on the world, who relishes the pressure and privilege of working with high caliber colleagues, and who actively seeks feedback to keep leveling up. We want someone who will run towards, not away from, solving the company’s hardest problems.

Our work culture is intense and isn’t for everyone. But if you want to build the future alongside others who excel in their disciplines and expect the same from you, there’s no better place to be.

The Tax Information Reporting Manager candidate will be an integral part of the Coinbase tax team supporting the day to day operations of the global tax information reporting and withholding function. • Execute various exception reports covering areas such as reporting, withholding and cost basis, while implementing internal policies and procedures.
  • Work closely with the product, and onboarding teams on business requirements and data alignment.
  • Assist our customer experience and account operations teams handle tax related inquiries and resolve reporting and withholding issues, including areas such as withholding, cost basis, and crypto tax reporting.
  • Identify and oversee improvements to information reporting processes and procedures.
  • Heavy cross functional departmental coordination with many departments- product, data analytics, onboarding, customer service, communications, marketing teams.

  • Strong analytical and communication skills.
  • Focus on process improvements.
  • Basic knowledge of SQL.
  • Experience with tax reporting tools.
  • Outstanding detail-orientation and process-orientation skills.
  • Collaborative and positive orientation.
  • Willingness to pivot and learn.
