Job summary

EY seeks a Summer 2027 Intern in the United States Tax – ITTS team (ICTA) to support international tax advisory services. The role emphasizes research, cross-border tax obligations, and assisting with strategy, planning, and reporting across various U.S. offices from Irvine to San Jose and beyond.

Hybrid work with in-person collaboration 60% of the time is expected. The position targets students pursuing LL.M. in Taxation or JD, with expected bar admission, and a strong academic record.

Qualifications

• Actively pursuing LL.M. in Taxation or Juris Doctor with strong academics.
• US state bar admission in progress or anticipated.
• Undergraduate degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or related discipline.
• Familiarity with firm-approved AI tools, including Microsoft Copilot.

Responsibilities

• Build on technical competence by staying up-to-date on tax trends and applying authorities to complex cases.
• Provide timely, high-quality services and work products for clients.
• Build client relationships and demonstrate knowledge of client business.
• Maintain professionalism and confidentiality in client engagements and work products.
• Contribute to team by leveraging EY methodologies and keeping others informed.
