Distinct | North America in Orlando is seeking a Tax Lead to own the tax function, partner with clients, and guide delivery across the team. You’ll manage relationships with partnerships, S corps, high net worth individuals, trusts and nonprofits, while staying close enough to the work to stay sharp.

The role emphasizes leading, reviewing, and improving processes rather than doing all the work yourself, with a hybrid work model offering 3 days in-office and 2 from home.

• Comfortable leading people and owning client relationships.
• Looks at processes and drives improvements.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of the tax function, working directly with clients while leading delivery across the team.
• Focus on partnerships and S corps, high net worth individuals, trusts and nonprofits.
• Shift from doing everything yourself to guiding, reviewing, and improving how things run.
• Be the primary client contact, not the person behind the scenes.
