The opportunity

Your key responsibilities

• Support the production of tax information reporting (1099/1042-S/8804), FATCA/CRS reporting, and tax withholding certificate validation (Forms W-8/9), ensuring accuracy and timeliness for clients in banking, wealth, asset management, and insurance sectors.
• Participate in day-to-day client interactions, provide quality work, and meet deadlines.
• Collaborate within a team-oriented culture, sharing information effectively.

Skills and attributes for success

• Efficiently support information reporting processes within regulatory deadlines.
• Manage multiple projects and coordinate with various engagement teams.
• Understand tax withholding certificates and information returns for accurate reporting.
• Analyze data to identify errors and apply tax knowledge to ensure reporting accuracy.
• Communicate effectively with clients and team members, using software tools like Microsoft Office and proprietary systems.
• Assist with billing, collections, and reconciliation tasks.

Minimum qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, Finance, or related field.
• 1–2 years of relevant experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with 1099/1042-S reporting systems.
• Knowledge of tax compliance and information reporting rules.
• Strong organizational, communication, and teamwork skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and commit to occasional travel (5–10%).

Preferred qualifications

• Experience in professional services or tax reporting.
• Knowledge of US federal and state tax laws, withholding tax, FATCA, and CRS.
• Attention to detail and adaptability.
• Proficiency in trust tax software is a plus.
