Job summary

Gate Gourmet, a gategroup company, is seeking a Director of Tax to lead all tax matters for the US and Canadian entities, including tax accounting, planning, compliance, and audits.

This role partners with Accounting and Global Tax, manages tax provisions, drives planning opportunities, and oversees tax audits. Requires 12+ years in corporate tax, CPA, and strong leadership. Hybrid work in Reston, VA. Travel up to 5%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in accounting required.
• Master’s Degree in taxation or advanced Degree required.

Responsibilities

• Lead US/Canadian income tax accounting, planning, compliance, and audits.
• Coordinate with Accounting and Global Tax to ensure consistent reporting.
• Manage tax audits and tax provision cycles (budget, re-forecasts, quarterly and annual).
• Provide technical tax support for global transactions and entity structure changes.
