Jobot, a top 100 public accounting firm, seeks an experienced Tax Director (Trusts & Estates) to join their Bremerton, WA team. This on-site, permanent role offers leadership over the tax department and a broad fiduciary tax advisory scope.

The ideal candidate has 7–10 years of public accounting experience, CPA in good standing, and proven supervision of tax staff, with strong Washington estate tax knowledge.

Qualifications

• 7-10 years' experience in public accounting with tax complexity
• 2+ years' experience representing clients before taxing authorities
• Strong working knowledge of fiduciary trust and estate income taxation and estate/gift taxes
• 1+ year experience supervising and directing tax preparers
• Active CPA license and good standing with AICPA

Responsibilities

• Develop, coach and train senior staff and staff accountants
• Ensure tax staff meet qualifications and training needs
• Participate in reviews and evaluations of the tax department
