Job summary

BPM LLP in the Bay Area seeks a Tax Manager within its Private Client Services practice. You will serve as a trusted advisor to high-net-worth individuals, families, business owners, executives, and family offices, guiding complex tax matters and wealth preservation across generations.

You'll lead sophisticated tax compliance and consulting engagements, identify planning opportunities, and collaborate with Partners to deliver customized solutions while building strong client relationships.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in public accounting, with tax experience.
• CPA or EA certification required or in process.
• Experience researching complex tax issues across entities.
• Ability to communicate clearly with clients and teams.
• Proven leadership, mentoring, and project-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide tax compliance and consulting to high-net-worth individuals, partnerships, and corporations.
• Oversee complex tax research projects across diverse industries.
• Help clients minimize federal, state, and local tax liabilities.
• Supervise and mentor tax associates and seniors.
• Develop and coach junior staff, reviewing work and guiding careers.
• Manage multiple engagements delivering high-quality work on time.
