We’re hiring a Tax Director / Partner to lead strategic tax initiatives, deepen client relationships, and help drive firm-wide growth across multiple practice areas. You’ll play a critical role in shaping tax strategy, mentoring talent, and serving as a trusted advisor to clients ranging from individuals and privately held businesses to multinational corporations and investment firms. This is a leadership-track opportunity for an experienced tax professional looking to make a broad and lasting impact.
Key Responsibilities
Advise clients on complex tax planning, structuring, and compliance matters tailored to their industry and structure
Serve as a primary advisor across one or more practice areas : Financial Services, Technology & Professional Services, Private Client Group, Real Estate, or International Tax
Lead and review tax engagements to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with evolving regulations
Develop and maintain long-term client relationships with a focus on trust, insight, and proactive service
Identify and mitigate tax risks while providing value-added planning strategies
Mentor, develop, and lead a team of tax professionals; foster a culture of continuous growth and accountability
Support business development efforts by identifying new opportunities and leading proposal development
Collaborate cross-functionally with internal practice leaders to expand service offerings and drive client value
Represent the firm through industry events, panels, publications, and other thought leadership platforms
Qualifications
12+ years of progressive tax experience with leadership responsibilities
Expertise in one or more of the following : Financial Services, Private Client, Real Estate, Technology, or International Tax
Strong command of tax code, regulations, and industry-specific compliance issues
Proven track record of managing complex client relationships and leading high-performing teams
Exceptional communication, leadership, and strategic thinking skills
CPA required; JD or LLM in Taxation is a strong plus
Proficiency in major tax platforms and Microsoft Office Suite
