Job summary

Weaver is seeking talented tax leaders at the Director or Managing Director level to join our growing firm in California and throughout national markets. A Tax Director/MD provides federal tax compliance and consulting services to large middle-market and public companies.

The ideal candidate is a CPA with 9+ years of federal tax experience in a public accounting setting, capable of attracting new clients and expanding services to existing ones.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field.
• CPA with 9+ years of federal tax compliance, planning and consulting at a public accounting firm.
• Experience with consolidated corporations, multi-state businesses, private equity-backed clients, large businesses and partnerships.
• Ability to attract and service new clients and expand services to existing clients.

Responsibilities

• Provide federal tax compliance and consulting services to large middle-market and public companies.
• Attract and service new clients and expand services to existing clients.
• Lead engagements across multiple industries including Manufacturing, Distribution, Technology, Healthcare, Professional Services, and Construction.
