Job summary

CLA is seeking a Tax Director or Manager to join our Tax practice in the United States. You will consult with clients on business processes such as succession and tax planning, and lead, schedule, supervise, and review tax engagements.

You will develop and train team members, foster opportunities for clients, attend industry trainings, perform a range of tax procedures, and review complex returns. CPA is required; EA/JD may be accepted in lieu.

Qualifications

• 6 years of experience in tax roles within public accounting or professional services.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• CPA required (EA or JD may be accepted in lieu of CPA).

Responsibilities

• Consult with clients on business processes such as succession and tax planning.
• Lead, schedule, supervise, and review tax engagements.
• Develop and train team members to help them build inspired careers.
• Foster and build opportunities for clients, communities, and people.
• Attend industry-leading events and trainings to stay current.
• Perform tax procedures appropriate to engagement size and complexity.
