Job summary

FirstPRO, Inc. in Boston seeks a Director of Tax to build and lead the tax function in a newly created, high-visibility leadership role. Reporting to the CFO, you will serve as the firm’s strategic tax advisor across Investments, Product, Legal, Finance, Operations, and Client Service.

You will develop tax strategy and controls, oversee compliance and accounting, and advise on cross-border matters while partnering with senior leadership on fund structures and investment strategies.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of progressive tax experience.
• Experience in investment management, fund taxation, partnership taxation, and corporate tax strategy.
• CPA required; Big Four or national public accounting experience strongly preferred.

An Asset Management firm is seeking a Director of Tax to build and lead the firm’s tax function in this newly created, highly visible leadership role.

Reporting directly to the CFO, this is an exciting opportunity for a senior tax professional to serve as the firm’s strategic tax advisor while partnering across Investments, Product, Legal, Finance, Operations, and Client Service.

What We’re Looking For

• 12+ years of progressive tax experience

• CPA required

• Strong knowledge of fund structures, partnership taxation, executive tax planning, transfer pricing, and international tax
• Experience with fund formation, tax structuring, and cross-border matters
• Proven ability to build teams and scalable processes
• Strong executive presence and ability to influence senior leadership
• Excellent analytical, communication, and relationship-building skills
