White Tiger Connections Inc. is seeking an experienced Tax Director to lead a high-impact tax practice within a well-established wealth management firm.

You will oversee a 6–15 person team and manage a broad tax book across individuals, businesses, and trusts/estates, while guiding advisory services for a discerning client base. You will work with a collaborative leadership team focused on modernization and growth, with a genuine path to equity partnership tied to impact and leadership.

Qualifications

• Active CPA license.
• 9+ years of public accounting tax experience, including at least 2 years in a leadership role.
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Commitment to exceptional client service and team development.

Our client is a well-established wealth management firm with a robust in-house tax practice, built through the acquisition of a large CPA firm and supported by its sister company. The firm is seeking an experienced Tax Director with strong leadership capabilities who is ready to step into a high-impact role and play a pivotal part in the firm’s next chapter of growth.

About the Role

The Tax Director is a key in-office leadership hire, brought on as part of a long-term succession plan with a genuine, performance-based path to Partner. Rather than a fixed timeline, advancement is tied to demonstrated leadership and impact — giving a strong performer real influence over how quickly that path unfolds.

You will lead a team of 6–15 professionals and oversee a broad book of work spanning individual, business, and trust/estate tax, plus advisory services for a high-value, wealth management client base — offering more sophisticated, varied work than a typical tax leadership role.

You’ll work closely with a collaborative leadership team dedicated to modernizing and expanding the firm’s capabilities, with the firm’s sole owner retaining final decision-making authority. Ideal candidates are accomplished tax professionals with proven leadership skills who are eager to guide the firm through this exciting period of growth and transition.
