ZipApply in Atlanta, GA is seeking an experienced Tax Director (Partner Track) to join our leadership team. This role is client-facing, high-impact, and designed for a tax professional who can deliver exceptional service, develop talent, and grow the practice.

You will lead planning, compliance, and consulting for diverse entities, mentor staff, manage budgets, and help expand client relationships while staying current on tax law and industry changes. Hybrid work arrangement offered.

Qualifications

• CPA license required.
• Experience leading tax engagements.
• Strong advisory and client-management skills.

Responsabilités

• Lead tax planning, compliance, and consulting engagements for clients including closely held businesses and individuals.
• Serve as primary advisor to key clients, building trusted relationships.
• Review complex federal, state, and local tax returns for accuracy.
• Identify tax-saving opportunities and advise on planning strategies.
• Mentor and develop managers, senior associates, and staff.
• Manage engagement budgets, staffing, profitability, and client satisfaction.
• Collaborate with firm leadership to expand client relationships and new business.
• Participate in networking and business development to support growth.
