Job Description:

Fluor Corporation (NYSE: FLR), a Fortune 500 engineering, procurement, construction, fabrication and maintenance company, is looking to add a Tax Director/ Tax Counsel position. This position will be located at Fluor’s Corporate Headquarters in Irving, Texas and will require spending a majority of workdays in the office each week. This position will report to the Executive Director, Tax & General Tax Counsel.

Primary Responsibilities:
  1. Provide research, analysis, advice and presentations with respect to U.S. federal income taxes, international income taxes and other tax matters (such as transactional tax planning, tax compliance, tax treaty matters and transfer pricing);
  2. Review and negotiate tax provisions of project contracts;
  3. Manage and implement tax planning and other projects;
  4. Support the resolution of tax disputes such as tax audits, tax treaty cases and litigation in both the US and foreign jurisdictions;
  5. Review and analyze proposed legislation and regulations for comments and recommendations.
