We’re seeking to connect a Tax Director with a top-ranked CPA and consulting firm in Atlanta on a full-time basis. This leadership role is hybrid and offers the opportunity to join a collaborative, client-focused team with over 40 years of experience. As a Tax Director, you will oversee complex tax engagements, manage client relationships, mentor staff, and contribute to strategic tax planning across diverse industries including real estate, construction, tech, and private equity.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and approve complex tax returns and audits to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Ensure adherence to federal and state tax laws.
• Lead tax research and planning initiatives to provide innovative solutions.
• Serve as a technical resource for both staff and clients.
• Supervise and mentor tax team members to foster professional development.
• Collaborate with audit teams on large client engagements to ensure seamless service delivery.
  
  

Qualifications

• CPA license required.
• 8+ years of experience in public accounting with increasing responsibility.
• Proven experience representing clients before tax authorities.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in tax software (e.g., CCH ProSystem fx) preferred.
