Job summary

Navigate Search is assisting a global organization in recruiting a Director of Tax to lead the global tax function. This role blends strategic leadership with hands-on technical execution, partnering with executive leadership to shape policy and operations.

The successful candidate will oversee compliance across federal, state/local and international boundaries, manage ASC 740 provisions, and guide tax planning for acquisitions, restructurings, and international activity.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive corporate tax experience.
• Strong U.S. federal, state, and international tax background.
• Strong executive presence and ability to influence senior leadership.

• Drive tax planning and provide guidance on acquisitions, restructurings, and international operations
• Partner with Finance, Legal, Treasury, Operations, and executive leadership
• Oversee transfer pricing, intercompany transactions, and global supply chain tax matters
• Lead tax audits and manage external advisors
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation
• Build, mentor, and develop the tax team
