Base pay range

$150,000.00/yr - $165,000.00/yr

In this role, you will:

• Lead a diverse portfolio of clients—ranging from individuals to owner-managed businesses—delivering high-quality tax planning and compliance services.
• Oversee all phases of the tax engagement, ensuring projects are completed on time and within scope.
• Serve as a trusted advisor, fostering proactive and responsive communication to build long-term relationships.
• Identify areas to improve processes and strengthen the efficiency and effectiveness of our tax function.
• Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior and mid-level staff, supporting their professional growth.
• Manage engagement economics, including billing, budgeting, and client profitability.
• Drive market visibility through community engagement and business development efforts in the Bluffton area.
• Remain current on tax legislation and industry trends to enhance client value and ensure compliance.

What we’re looking for:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (required)
• Active CPA license (required)
• 10+ years of progressive experience in public accounting with strong focus on both individual and business taxation
• A collaborative mindset and desire to contribute to the success of others
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
• Strong analytical and decision-making capabilities
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple engagements and lead teams effectively
