Job summary

PwC is seeking a Tax Innovation - Data Engineer Senior Manager to design and build data infrastructure enabling efficient data processing and analysis within our Tax practice. You will lead teams, drive strategic data solutions, and transform raw data into actionable insights for clients.

You will shepherd data pipelines, integration, and transformation, leveraging AWS, Azure Data Factory, Airflow, Hadoop, Snowflake, and Databricks to empower data-driven decisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 7+ years of experience required.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop data infrastructure and systems for efficient data processing and analysis.
• Implement data pipelines, integration, and transformation to turn raw data into insights.
• Leverage advanced technologies to drive business growth through data engineering.
• Build and maintain scalable data architectures using AWS and Azure Data Factory.
• Utilize Apache Airflow and Hadoop to orchestrate data workflows.
• Develop and optimize data models and warehouses (Snowflake, Databricks) to support decision making.
• Validate data quality and security within analytics frameworks.
• Coach and motivate teams to deliver high-quality results.
• Apply systems thinking to identify underlying data engineering problems and opportunities.
• Craft clear messages that tell a holistic data story to clients and stakeholders.
