Job summary

InterSolutions LLC in Los Gatos, CA is hiring an Affordable Housing Leasing Consultant to greet prospective residents, conduct tours, prepare applications and leases, and manage background checks. You will collect move-in fees and communicate terms to residents in a fast-paced environment.

Ideal candidates have leasing or property management experience, strong customer service skills, and familiarity with leasing software such as Yardi or Entrata.

Qualifications

• Ideal candidates have backgrounds in leasing, property management, customer service, sales, or hospitality.
• Tax Credit experience preferred.
• Basic computer knowledge including Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel and exposure to social media.
• Knowledge of leasing software is a plus including Yardi, Blue Moon, Entrata OneSite, MRI, etc.

Responsibilities

• Greeting prospective residents, conducting tours, and identifying housing needs.
• Assisting with leasing paperwork, including applications, lease agreements, and background/credit checks.
• Collecting rent, security deposits, and other move-in fees.
• Communicating lease terms and community policies to residents.
• Following up with prospects who haven’t leased.
• Ensuring apartments are move-in ready and adding final touches as needed.
• Implementing creative marketing techniques to attract residents.
• Managing lease renewals and resident retention efforts.
• Responding promptly to calls, emails, and inquiries.
