Job summary

InterSolutions, LLC is seeking an Affordable Housing Leasing Consultant in Baltimore, MD. You will greet residents, conduct tours, process applications, and manage leasing paperwork including background and credit checks.

The role involves collecting rents and move-in fees, explaining lease terms, and maintaining move-in ready apartments. You will also follow up with prospects, implement marketing efforts, handle renewals, and respond quickly to inquiries.

Qualifications

• Tax Credit experience preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
• Basic computer knowledge including Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel with exposure to social media.
• Knowledge of leasing software such as Yardi, Blue Moon, Entrata Onesite, MRI, etc.
• Ability to work weekends as required.

Responsibilities

• Greet prospective residents, conduct tours, and identify housing needs.
• Assist with leasing paperwork, including applications, lease agreements, and background/credit checks.
• Collect rent, security deposits, and move-in fees.
• Communicate lease terms and community policies to residents.
• Follow up with prospects who haven’t leased.
• Ensure apartments are move-in ready and add final touches as needed.
• Implement marketing techniques to attract new residents.
• Manage lease renewals and resident retention.
• Respond promptly to calls, emails, and inquiries.
