Job summary

BCG Attorney Search is seeking a corporate attorney for its Corporate Finance/Tax Credit Group in Denver. The role involves debt, equity, real estate, and new markets tax credit financings, with exposure to structured finance transactions and close work with experienced partners.

Candidates should have a JD and strong communication skills, and be able to manage multiple matters under pressure while working both independently and with a team in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctorate from an ABA-accredited law school.
• Licensed, or pending licensure, to practice law in a U.S. state; license must be in good standing.
• General working knowledge of structured or tax credit finance.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct due diligence and prepare diligence checklists and memoranda for tax credit-advantaged transactions.
• Draft, review, comment, and negotiate operating agreements and loan documents.
• Negotiate and structure complex financings, restructurings, and exit arrangements.
• Assist senior tax attorney with research on tax code changes and draft memoranda.
• Participate in conference calls and work directly with clients on transactional issues.
