Formación

• Experience in tax credit finance, community development finance, real estate finance, or project finance.
• Focus on Historic Tax Credits (HTC) and/or New Markets Tax Credits (NMTC).
• Ability to draft, review, and negotiate financing and tax equity documents.

Overview

• The firm's nationally recognized Tax Credit Finance team advises investors, syndicators, lenders, for-profit and nonprofit developers, operating businesses, and community development entities.
• The team handles sophisticated transactions involving Historic Tax Credits (HTC) and New Markets Tax Credits (NMTC), supporting economic development, community revitalization, historic preservation, and transformative development projects across the country.
• The role requires specific experience in tax credit finance, community development finance, real estate finance, project finance, or related transactional matters, with a focus on Historic Tax Credits (HTC) and/or New Markets Tax Credits (NMTC).
• Key responsibilities include drafting, reviewing, and negotiating financing documents, tax equity documents, organizational documents, transaction opinions, and related deal documentation.
• Associates will conduct legal due diligence, review title and survey matters, assist with transaction closings, and support all facets of a transaction including structuring, documentation, closing coordination, and overall project management, gaining experience across the full lifecycle of community development and project finance transactions.
