Base pay range

$75.00/hr - $95.00/hr

Title: Income Tax Provision Specialist

Location: Las Vegas, NV – open to remote (PST/MST residents)

Engagement Type: Contractor

Duration: 5 months

Reports to: Senior Director – Global Head of Tax

Overview

We are seeking a seasoned CPA or Chartered Accountant with deep expertise in income tax provision under both IFRS and US GAAP (ASC 740). This role supports global and Americas tax teams in delivering accurate, audit-ready tax provision work and technical documentation for a multinational, publicly traded company.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and review global income tax provisions and related financial disclosures.
• Draft high-quality technical tax memoranda on complex issues, including M&A, UTPs, and international tax impacts.
• Analyze and quantify the effect of international tax rules (e.g., CFCs, Subpart F, GILTI) on consolidated provisions.
• Collaborate with FP&A, Legal, Treasury, and Controllership to align tax assumptions with financial forecasts.
• Support external audits with documentation, schedules, and responses to inquiries.

Qualifications

• CPA or Chartered Accountant required.
• 10–15 years of experience in income tax accounting, including global provisioning.
• Strong command of IFRS and US GAAP tax standards.
• Proven ability to write clear, audit-ready tax memos and reports.
• Prior Big 4 and multinational public company experience preferred.
• Proficiency in Excel and OneSource Tax Provision is a plus.

Compensation:

$70/hr to $90/hr.

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.
