POSITION SUMMARY
Summary:
As the Manager, Tax Compliance, you will own the Company’s income tax compliance process. This position requires excellent excel skills, critical thinking, and the ability to prioritize work to coincide with internal and external deadlines. You will have frequent interaction with all levels of internal employees, as well as outside consultants (tax advisors, auditors, etc.) requiring effective communication skills.
Orientation and Onboarding:
All new JBG SMITH employees start their tenure at the company with a half-day orientation session that covers information relevant to all employees. Participants learn about the company, its history, mission, and culture, and how to find the resources and information you’ll need to be successful in your role as a JBG SMITH employee.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED (REQUIREMENTS)
The salary range for this position is $130,000-$150,000 annually. In addition to base salary, a discretionary bonus will be offered. Please note that the salary range information provided is a general guideline. It is uncommon for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on a variety of factors. JBG SMITH considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate’s work experience, candidate’s work location, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, external market data, as well as, market and business considerations when making compensation decisions.
